Tactile Concepts

For Biodesign Here Now I will present my current research into circular vegan biodegradable bioplastics and foams made from household and industrial waste, alongside with presenting my concept CIRCULAR HOME, a project that aims to empower communities to shape their own homes through interior pieces made from materials based on their household food-waste. I will introduce the concept and materials as a thought starter for idea sharing around the quality of circular, temporary materials for the industry and the possibilities of diy materials in interior spaces and the empowerment this gives to the individual and community.
I am a designer and explorer. I work in the fields of textile and material design with a strong focus on circular biomaterials. My current research explores vegan biodegradable bioplastics and foams from industrial and household food waste with diverse possible applications within interiors and product design.
